Today was very big day!
We headed off early to the Royal Melbourne Zoo, to not only see the animals but to see J's favourite performer Justine Clarke!

I think J spent the day a little overwhelmed. We read a lot about animals, we talk about animals, we play with toy animals and watch tv shows about animals!
Ditto Justine: We listen to her music all the time and watch her dvd's.
I often (badly) sing her beautiful songs to J too.

I think J found it hard to distinguish that this was all happening in front of him and it wasn't on TV!
Nonetheless, we had a great day!

My personal highlight was seeing my social, confident little man making friends everywhere!
Just casually walking up and joining in with other families dancing to Justine and then rewarding them with a "high 5" when the song finished. Buddying up with a little boy enjoying his lunch on a little bench - they were so cute together!
Seeing all the kids and parents so very happy to watch Justine live was simply priceless!
